Roof Battens
Roof battens serve as the foundation of any roof. They are fitted horizontally, providing a fixing point for roof materials, such as roof tiles and vertically as counter battens in a warm roof construction. You will find the graded roof battens you are looking for at DMR Roofing Centre, all of which have been preservative treated to increase their durability and meet the current British Standards.
Plywood
Sometimes, roof rafters and battens need to be covered by decking before the finishing roof materials, such as roof tiles, can be fitted. One of the most common materials used for this decking is plywood, which is typically made from 4-8 layers of thin wood that are glued together to make a whole sheet of ply. Flexible, durable and cost-effective, we stock plywood in a variety of thickness levels for your convenience.
